‘Parthan’ and ‘Bullet’, not for today

Jayaram's ‘Parthan Kanda Paralokam’ and Suresh Gopi’s ‘Bullet’ failed to reach the theatres today. The only Onam release that could manage early shows, even on the Thiru Onam day was Lal release 'Thalappavu'.

Films like ‘Thirakkatha’ and ‘Thavalam’ which managed to make a release, will open in most centers only with the matinee shows, due to delay in taking prints.

Though around 70 theatres across the state has been blocked for the movies 'Parthan Kanda Paralokam' and ‘Bullet', both these films were enmeshed in a number of financial problems, which prevented these movies from being in theatres for the big festival. The other matter of interest is that both these movies were originally slated for a release during the last Vishu.

‘Veruthe Oru Bharya’- the recent super hit in theatres was one of the movies that Jayaram completed after this 'Parthan Kanda Paralokam'.

Like wise the work on 'Bullet' was also completed by March after which its director Nizar, has recently finished even his next film with Suresh Gopi 'The Boss’.
